2009 MBA CHURCH MISSION TRIPS MBA Churches Share Their Mission Experiences CALL TO PRAYER FOR MBA MISSIONS & CHURCHES THAT NEED A CHURCH HOME
 | MBA Missions Development Team | | Purpose: | To help the churches mobilize for Acts 1:8 missions involvement by encouraging, educating, equipping, and celebrating local, regional, national, and international missions and evangelism efforts.
Your Missions Development Team is here to encourage and equip your church toward a missional lifestyle. Pray for this team, that together we will be the missions force God has designed us to be. |
| Your team will be focused on missions with these goals in mind: | | ENCOURAGING: | We want to encourage missions and evangelism efforts in our association by identifying where our churches are involved in missions and encouraging that work by spreading the word on what God is doing through us. We know that our churches are very active in missions efforts – we will be encouraging those who are involved to continue and increase. | Missions Development

| | EDUCATING: | Working with our established missions education efforts and identifying new ways to teach the importance of missions awareness and involvement, this team will cooperate with our churches in every way possible to educate our Baptist family on ways to be involved in missional ministry. | | EQUIPPING: | When we identify where churches are involved in missions and evangelism, and when we find opportunities to do missions and evangelism, we will do all that we can do to prepare those who will be missionaries. This will include everything involved in assisting and resourcing for missions, working in close cooperation with our associated churches. This will specifically involve relationships between congregations that facilitate greater missions activity. | | CELEBRATING: | We will find ways to celebrate all God is doing to make us a missional people, Christians and congregations who are serious about reaching those around us and around the world with the good news of Jesus Christ. One of the primary ways we will celebrate is by identifying what God is doing in specific congregations and neighborhoods and spreading the word on those activities of the Lord among us. |
If you would like to connect with the missions efforts of our association,
please contact a member of our Missions Development Team,
or call the MBA office at 704.375.1197.
2010 will be a year of new beginnings and great opportunities – pray with us that God will be glorified and lives will be changed because we were His missionaries right here.
